Krafty Tips and Tuts - 3D paper piecing

Hello!
Krafty Girl Lisa here, and today we are doing some 3D paper piecing!

Isn't he cute? You can do this to any stamp, but this was an easy one to start with.
The fox is from a set called Happy Winter Days.

I started with stamping the fox four times.  Three of them can be stamped close together, since you cut out the parts anyway. You can do as many layers as you like, and you can have the first layer colored up too, but I choosed to make the first layer totally covered (grey).

Figure out what parts you want to show "on top" of another, and color up just those.
For a reference you can color up those part that will be covered in grey.

Cut all parts out.

Now it's time to put it all together. Use 3D-foam to build the image up.
First out the base body.

Here I've added the tail and the scarf.

Then the head / nose part, and finally the hat!

See... lots of layers.

Now he is ready to be put on a card.

I went for a circle card to do something different.

Happy Winter Days!

Hugs Lisa
